I don't go out to the pub as much since the smoking ban came in, but probably go over the govt guidelines most weeks just from going round mates, armed with a 4 pack, 2 or 3 nights most weeks *shrug* I figure as long as I've not got a beer belly I'm probably not drinking *too* much ;)

Don't know if kids today are actually worse than when I was young, or if it's just a perception built up by the media, but it definitely feels like the former to me. Growing up I mostly respected adults & certainly wouldn't lip one to their face, but then my folks brought me up to have respect...

Call me a luddite but I never trust *any* windows OS until the next one comes out, my home PCs still on Win2k (simply cos it does everything I need) & only recently got forced to upgrade to XP by work *shrug*

Don't get me started on that one mate *grin* It's not PC to say so these days but this country's been going down the pan since WW2 &/or we lost the empire. Think I'll bite my tongue there though, not sure quite what the limits are on this board and don't want to be labeled a troll. ;)

Cheers mate, tbh that was the way I was leaning anyway, tend to save the big screen for the flashy special effect/cgi type movies, big TVs are enough for most movies these days IMO.
