I saw an S5 in that exact colour in Hull last week and it looked great, but then I think it really suits the S3 too, but then again I may be a little biased as my current Corrado is almost exactly that colour too and looks fab :D

No its not as ownership of the car passes to me while I have the lease. So no tax. Any company could do it if they are willing to pay for it...

Why are all the torque graphs bouncing up till about 2500 rpm? Is it wheel spin??

Its not a true company car as I dont get any tax hits, but it is provided through my company. Essentially BP buy the car and lease it to me. Thats how the price is so low. Mark

Dont mean to annoy anyone but my facelift S3 with 2k of options will be costing me £380/month for 3 years, no deposit, incl maintenance, tyres, road tax and insurance :o)) 10k miles/year

your still all looking at the headline figures only!!! We need to see power and torque curves for the Bluefin car over teh standard car before you can tell if its a worthwhile road remap. Peak power is only for willy waving in the pub and the race circuit!!

What you really need to see to choose between the maps is the torque curve from each. Peak figures are all about willy waving, but the torque curve is what makes a car fast on the road in my opinion. So soes anyone have a standard torque map that could be overlaid with the 3 different curves...

Well your hardly going to get an un-biased view here are you!!!! lol I am swapping my Corrado for a new S3 because its a new company car. In your position though I would also consider the Nissan 350Z which is a better drive than the S3 in my opinion. At the end of the day, its your cash...

I test drove a TT convertible when I was looking for my new company car and settled on an S3 in the end for a number of reasons. 1. The S3 looks better IMHO 2. The TT I drove was 2 litre turbo, flappy paddle and convertible. nice engine, hated the gearbox and the chassis was not anywhere like...

Phantom Black for me :blackrs4:...... I have some Chemical Guys XXXHardcore paste wax ( crap name, great wax...) carnuba wax that I use on my corrado. Have also just got a freebie of Turtle wax's new Ice Shine synthetic polymer wax, claimed to be easier to apply and last longer than "natural"...

Guys, those of you who have ppicked up new cars from Audi, what sort of condition was the paintwork in? Is it worth getting it home and givign it a good wash, seal and couple of coats of carnuba wax, or is all this done by the dealer? Have heard some horror stories of people collecting cars...

No discount as its bought through a company car lease type firm. Although it is a company car, I still make lease type payments on it to prevent getting hammered with comp car tax, thats the way my firm do things.... Is anyone getting a facelift S3 before early August??
