I'm no super-duper expert, but I think it's just the dump/recycler valve (or is it the turbo spinning down?). Maybe a true expert can comment. Mine makes this sound too...particularly if I'm making short sharp use of the accelerator, with clutch/gear changes....sounds pretty cool if you ask...
