Well after three years of use and less than 18,000 miles my 2.0T FSI SE with only 48,000 miles is now up for sale, anyone interested I will post it in the "for sale" forum.
I googled it (LOL) laugh out loud ....................
I am a technofobe.......... sorry I was just answering the question, I am fully lightened up
Cheers:beerchug::whistle2:
NOOOOO When I bought the car in 2006 I paid 15995 for the S4 and at the same time there was a 1.9tdi windscreen price 20500 genuine mistake it turned out to be a new appentice
On a brighter note I do have a new car off them every two years................:end_of_discction:
The dealer put the wrong sticker price on my old s4 and I got that at 4.5k under list the dealer did the deal then realised his mistake but stood by the deal.
Although both partys have rights I would suggest in a tactfull way that the dealer should stand by his mistake or take the negative...
go genuine every time as the width is different for the front bar and the back bar, they are also although not lockable they are difficult to put on/take off.
They are expensive but worth the extra
As I have moved from a B6 to a B7, I thought I had better introduce myself into the B7 section..........
So out with the old...
And welcome to the new 2.0T FSI
just a quick update, after a whole year with a Vauxhall Meriva, I have finally managed to get back to the Audi its not an S4 but it is very nice and the wife likes it!!
Its only Dealer clean but soon will be JR clean.
Cheers mate,
Having tryed most options including the A2 we ended up with a Vauxhall Meriva (partly because of the dog)
However I have every intention of having another A4 Avant possibly early next year with the new suspension it may well be a good choice (although the S4 or RS4 are out of...
Its the wifes not mine!!
I did`nt choose it I just took her to a car supermarket and told her to sit in all the cars until she found one she liked.
I still have`nt sold mine so theres still time to persuade her to keep it......... At the moment shes on her second glass of wine so you never...
Unfortunatly its down to my wife who has developed a problem with her back and just can`t (and not for want of trying) get into or out of the car.
Today we sold her pride and joy (a BMW 320i) for the same reason.
I have bought her a new Vauxhall Meriva which she can get in and out of, I think...
Well its got to go so thought I would spend the afternoon making sure the new owner receives the vehicle in tip top condition.
Now all I have to do is sell her:blownose::sadlike:
I have found Swiftcover.com the best I pay £258 fully comp no claims bonus protected group 20 S4< however I will add a coveat to that my 1.9tdi with the same company came in at a whopping £385 for the same cover.............. Maybe you should upgrade to an S4?????????:hubbahubba:
The red/orange plastic caps pop off take these off and you will notice some slight blackening around the faulty (if it is faulty) coil.
To change them take off the the plastic caps then pull out the coil and replace should takeabout 5 mins.
Auto opening boot for the saloon and Avant models have to be factory fit options. I don`t think (willing to be proved wrong) that a gas strut has enough Ooomph to open, I believe that a small electric motor is used to open a small way before the gas struts take over.
Be very careful when...
Yeah sounds familiar, I had one go on my S4 but it was a bit lumpy for a week or so beforehand, this is because the insulation deteriates and starts to arc around a bit. Easy to change cost about £30.00 from Audi (i would spend the extra and get genuine bits). gets a bit more expensive when you...
I swapped my P-zeros for Continental sport contact2 235/40 ZR18 and 15,000 miles on they still have 2-3k left in them cost a bit more at around £145 per corner but are an excellent tyre and thats on an S4 driven mainly on rural and fast A roads
