Right, another day, another issue. The car has now began to misfire at idle, doesn't seem to lose power when accellerating but feels lumpy when sitting for a while and doesn't seem to start right. It isn't the MAF, coils or plugs (all have been replaced at some point) i'm guessing the coil pack...

Don't know when the pump was last replaced, but the car has done 98,000 miles it could be the problem... Did take the pipe off the coolant bottle to check that water was getting around, it was coming out but not with any great force, unsure how it should be but there is water getting around...

I've already changed the temp sensor, that was what I thought was causing the low running temp in the first place; it mainly sits around 95 but can go higher when at idle. It's never gone to 120 but it bugs the hell out of me that it refuses to sit at 90... :( Another thing I was thinking of...

Sorry, I didn't realise there were two seperate forums! I kinda feared it might be the valve seals or piston rings, big job either way. I'm guessing the heads got to come off completely or is it possible to do it with it intact?
