Oem A4 18s are 18x8 either et45 or 43 with 235/40/18 tyres
Oem TT 19s are 19x9 et52 with 255/35/19 tyres
They would fit but would be very close to the struts on the inside, you could use a 10mm spacers but even then you may have issues at the front. As its a mate i'd be tempted to try them...
I love petrol turbo'd cars and still miss my stage 2+ 8P S3 as that was an animal, but the diesels don't do it for me in the same way. I drove the 3.0tdi and the 335d and like your experience with the S4 was a bit underwhelmed (though think it could be a different story if they were remapped)...
A pre march 2006 S4 is only £245 a year
S4 is definitely the way to go, it may be a little costly on fuel but its worth every penny for the noise it makes. Get a tdi next time :)
I actually have 4 x brand new good quality 66.1-57.1 spigot rings i don't need any more. The are still in the packaging i got them in and i could post them when i'm back from hols on Tuesday for £10 inc postage in you're interested
When you get your non res milltek you'll realise there was something wrong with the stock exhaust its criminal to have a V8 S4 and not have one - do it :)
You can pick them up for £600-800 now so they're not that much and I've seen them on other cars, loads of B5 RS4s have them on but I actually don't think I've ever seen a set on a B6/B7 A4/S4, can't find any pics of any either - would lke to see some. If they did fit properly i'd have a set...
Guess it depends on your definition of fit
If you have to stretch tyres, lower it to stop the stretch making look like an offroader and then do some arch work to eliminate rubbing then i don't really count that as fitting - but yeah they can be made to fit if you are willing to make compromises...
Genuine RS4 wheels are 19x9 et29 and won't fit a non RS4 b7 A4
If they are 19x8.5 they are probably RS4 style OEM A6 wheels which are et48. These will fit fine but would look better with a 15mm spacer on the rear 10 or 15mm on the front. 235 or 245s would be a safer bet
Yeah the non res is louder as it doesn't have the centre section silencers the the resonated has. Non res is noticeably louder but it does give a bit of drone around 1700-2000rpm. I've heard that on the auto the drone is more noticeable as the auto holds it in that rev range whereas with the...
Spending £500 on a remap just to save money on petrol seems a bit pointless
As said you can't own this car and worry about mpg - you'll have a breakdown :scared2:
Worth every penny though as it sounds seriously amazing, especially with a non resonated milltek :)
It says 5w30 in the manual but most specialists recommend 5w40 and that's what most people seem to go for. The ester based fully synthetic such as the fuchs Titan race pro s is supposed to be the one to go for if you want the best and are prepared to pay for it but any decent brand fully...

VCDS is the best diagnostics tool and does a bunch of other stuff - Ross-Tech: VCDS Tour
Never seen a physical parts catalog.....
I'm not 100% sure but I didn't think it would fit. The RS4 is a 32 valve FSI based on the S4s 40 valve 4.2 V8 so there are differences. If it does fit ok you'd probably have to mess with the rear valance to fit the big oval tips

They're 19x8.5 et32 with a 66.6 centre bore so you need 66.6 to 57.1 spigot rings
i was going to put some on my S4 with 245/35/19 tyres. They would have been fine on the rear but trouble was at the front it worked out as the equivalent of running oem S4/A4 wheels with an 18mm spacer which...
