Well I've had the car a year (although the photos above were taken when new ;) ) and I think it's wearing pretty well. It's certainly not as bright as when I picked it up, but it's also not looking grubby. The main problem that I had with it was when I spilt some dirty water onto the rear squabs...

    Alloy Refurb on South Coast

Sorry, don't have code as I chose it from about 4000 possible colours. I tried to match it with the bumper trim Here are a couple more shots of the end result: Phil

    Alloy Refurb on South Coast

Not mobile, but http://www.solentwheels.com/ in Ampfield do a fantastic job  . Not cheap mind, at £70 for 18"s, but worth every penny in my book :) . Here's a photo of my colour coded ones that they just done for me... Phil

    S3 and Pipercross filters

I currently have a BMC panel on my S3 with a GIAC remap. I would certainly say that the filter helps to improve the engine's breathing, but not massively so ;) . Worthwhile for the modest outlay, but I will be getting the EVOMS shortly, plus an uprated exhaust, which should unlock much more of...

A3 Model 8P Facelift Tail Lights

I've been quoted under £150 from my dealer, but OEM Parts via S3-Talk will be cheaper still ;) . I believe that they also have some in stock, as they e-mailed me about my previous interest about a week ago. Phil

RS4 Exhaust set up on S3???

I would imagine that this would be quite tricky, and probably a bit of a bodge to do. There is some work going on with Tubi to develop something for the S3 8P, which should be very good quality and hopefully sound :yum:! Phil

    S3 brake pads

I found EBC at https://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=R248DP31946CR&a=i and they're cheaper than Performance Brakes ;) . Green Stuff would be no good on such a powerful car (trust me, I tried them on my old Coupe :sadlike:!), so it would have to be Red or Yellow, but as JamS3 says, warming may be...

    S3 brake pads

Where did you find the Mintex and/or EBCs for sale, as I can't seem to find any, even on their own websites :( ? Phil

Hmm, just checked their website and they don't list for the S3 8P :( . Phil

    S3 brake pads

Do Pagid do them for the S3? Blues would be a good compromise for fast road/occasional track use, or even Greys or Yellows if you drive particularly hard ;) . I used to use Yellows on my 300bhp Fiat Coupe and they were great on track and reasonable on the road. Not sure about on a S3 though...

    Forum/Webserver Performance

Sorry to be a pain, but is there any progress on this, as current forum performance for me is virtually unusable :( . Pages aren't loading at all or, if they do load, they are taking about 30 seconds each, which is just too slow IMHO... Hopefully things are well in hand with resolving these...

    Mis-fire

Sorry to be a bit dense, but are you saying that a change in the downpipe for 2008+ cars is leading to injectors breaking up when you push the boost levels high up in the rev range? What sort of boost does a standard S3 run at 6000rpm then? Surely, if they don't run at more than 1 bar, then...

S3 Re-Mapped Problems Poll. Be Honest.

Shame I can't tick two options, as my car showed a flatlining problem at higher revs as standard and this problem has been made slightly more evident since the GIAC remap. A recent dose of injector cleaner has certainly helped it, and I haven't actually had the ECU light on as yet. TBH, as I...
