Give Audi a call ask them to check with your reg or Vin. I'm pretty sure if you have a remap and get the software update it will over write it. You will lose your remap as update is for engine control unit.

Just found out my a3 is up for the recall. Have an 2017 2.0 tdi with DQ250 Going to hold off for while see how people get on. Was kinda hoping this was for newer dsg boxes not older DQ250.

Did the Esp light and parking brake fault flag up so you turned ignition on then disappear straight away? Asking because mine did this other day think due to battery being low.
