    BLUEFIN...hmmm

With regard to warranty issues - Despite quotes to the contrary, the Bluefin DOES leave a flash count on the ECU. However, whether an Audi MD would pick up on this is another matter. GIAC software zero's any remnant flash counts and when switched to stock, is totally invisible to the...

    BLUEFIN...hmmm

I've used, both, the Bluefin and GIAC's 330 Hammer maps on my 08 S3. Ultimately, with the Bluefin there is a definite improvement in mid range torque, and overall acceleration through the gears - Not MASSIVE, but it's there. The GIAC map, to me, provides a stronger and smoother drive...

    Brushed Aluminium Trim

Thats the problem with Piano Black, it does look great, but even the most careful detailers (me) struggle to keep it looking good and clean. Now ordered the aluminium pack at £312 delivered!!

    Brushed Aluminium Trim

I bought the car as stock from Audi, so the extras were already on. The reason I'm changing, is the 'Piano Black' is a pain to keep clean and dust/ swirl free. Don't want to do myself out of a sale, but I would think hard before going for the black!! PS How did you get the ashtray cover...

    Brushed Aluminium Trim

Anyone retro fitted the Brushed Aluminium Trim? My S3 came with the 'piano black' and I fancy changing it. I take it everything simply snaps on and off, or are there going to be issues re fitting?? (especially the front console - ashtray & gear surround) Cheers, R

    GIAC Re-map differences???

Thanks for the replies guys. I think it certainly proves there are noticeable differences between the various map manufacturers. It seems different products offer different strengths and possible (small) weaknesses. I would still recommend the GIAC map, as it is, I feel, solid and well...

    GIAC Re-map differences???

Hi, I know the subject of re-mapping has been covered many times within this forum and I don't want to get into any kind of debate over 'should' or 'shouldn't' you?? My question is regarding two of the main software promoters - GIAC and Bluefin. I have a 2008 S3, which once run in, was...
