The last I heard the car was recovered locally in Poole and was in good condition.

I have just heard that Poole Police have recovered the car - no idea of whether it is in good condition yet.

Just to clarify it is a friend's S3 (I have a TT), very much a standard low mileage example. No news yet on the vehicle.

An update to the above, Portsmouth Audi have been brilliant and replaced the roof under warranty. Originally they were going to change parts, however they then ordered a complete fully assembled new roof which was fitted The new roof sits slightly higher when folded.

Looking at the pics they are similar to my wife's A3 Cab (just 2 years old). Currently in for a full replacement roof.

My wife's 1 year old A3 cab is starting to show "shiney" patches on the roof where I assume the canvass rubs. The roof gets used a lot however I wouldnt expect this sort of wear? Also there is a bit of a pulled thread near the top corner of the door which we assume is rubbing (but can not be...

On my wife's A3 cab she has Xenons and we dont seem to be able to get the headlamp wash to operate. I know on my TT you need to wash with the H/Lights on for 5 seconds, but can not see anything to say how exactly they work on the A3 :confused: Can anyone enlighten or is this going to be a...
