Light reset , no issues :o.k: Well happy , thought it was gonna be expensive !!!! It had a couple of error codes , one being "Glow Plug Warning" !!!!! ?????? Wierd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This isn't from start-up , it's when at normal running temperature , driving along then coming to a junction for instance .

Hello all , my car has developed an annoying high idle fault when coming to a standstill , idles at approx 1100rpm for a minute or so then drops to the normal 800rpm . Any ideas ?

i wash my wheels with washing-up liquid once a week , wheels are spotless and the nut-covers still look like new !

Scratch X as Dave suggested is ok on very light scratches

used blackcircles and mytyres , you choose your local garage and the date for fitment , had no problems with either .

My light never came on and the pads were down to the backing plate !! Had the same grinding noise when braking . After fitting new discs and pads i had a grinding noise when going round left hand bends , turned out to be a bent brake shroud rubbing on the new discs , quick little bending back...

I recently changed my discs and pads . GSF Discs £49 each , absolute bargain . Did originally get the pads from there but they sent the wrong ones , they do stock them though , ended up getting original pads for £65 . Aftermarket pads produce a lot of dust apparently .

Discs were £45 each from GSF Pads were £65 from Abridge VW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Paint is believe it or not Hammerite £5 Painted them while they were off , took 3 coats . Wheels are Lamborghini Gullardo replicas , £500 with tyres fitted & balanced and with a new set of wheel bolts from Wheel...

yes they are 18" , had RS4 replicas on before also 18"

Discs and pads fitted , also painted the calipers while it was all apart and fitted my new wheels :yahoo:
