I am thinking of chipping my 1.8T. I have checked with my insurance company (Bell Direct) and they will only quote for up to 26% increase which in the 150 1.8t would be 187.5. AMD quote approx 200 bhp from remap. Can anyone recommend insurance company that quote on this. Cheers Rich

Hi all I have just started to have a problem with my car door. Basically when I close the door the Driver Information display still thinks it is open and consequently the interior lights stay on and you cant lock it. This is only an intermitent fault though as it does not do it everytime...

I am thinking of getting a chip and have been looking at APRs site. They say 206 bhp and 240lb torque from the 1.8T vvt engined car. Does anyone have an APR chip ? What is it like ? Does this large incresae in torque cause any problems with clutch, gearbox etc? Richard
