Hi all, as the title suggests, can anyone recommend an Audi Specialist in West Sussex or Surrey? I have been offered a B7 Cab 2.0T FSI with multi-tronic transmission in need of overhaul. Car has done 144k miles and apart from the transmission is otherwise fit and healthy.
Thanks, yes I do have VCDS and the guy was going to put it through the MOT and spend some time on it before inviting me back for another test drive.
Thanks and agree with your assessment. Your car looks great but want an auto.
Yes thanks, I think I can get the car for around £1k, which with...
1. Roof is inoperative as are all 4 windows.
2. Lacquer peeling on offside rear quarter.
3. Front wings have been poorly resprayed.
4. Leather seats pretty worn.

Hi all. I'm contemplating buying a 2003 A4 3.0 petrol cabriolet from a dealer who has taken the car in part exchange. The car has a number of faults (mostly cosmetic) but is cheap. I'd like the help of an A4 convertible expert who can help me assess whether the car is a bag of nails or worth...
Hi Jamie, noticed you bought an A4 3.0 Cab and had roof problems. I'm contemplating a similar purchase and wondered what you thought of the 3.0 petrol lump? Also did you solve your roof problems? The car I'm looking at has inoperative windows (all 4) and roof. Apparently its intermittent so...
The white clip is symmetrical so will fit either way. However, if you have filed the clip down in order for it to fit then you may need to insert if the correct way round.
From memory I did force the pedal across with reasonable effort to engage behind the lip of the bracket but no longer have...
jeepster - is the white clip still loose? If the white clip is engaged then the master cylinder rod will only allow minimal travel and you won't be able to move the pedal rearward at all.
If it is loose then you should at least be able to pull the pedal backwards.....being able to lock the...
pol when I wrote this guide back in 2012, both the white clip and black plastic cover were included in the replacement pedal which cost from memory around £27 + VAT.
Aaron1.8t the bushes are mentioned in the guide, they are part number 8 on the ETKA pic and cost pence from the dealer...
Had same problem with MOT. Have VCDS if you want to check for fault codes and I'm in Surrey if that helps.
Mine turned out to be a small hole in the post cat lambda sensor. Exhaust paste worked to get through MOT before a replacement cat arrived.
I have the earlier RNS-E installed in my S3 8L and would like to get the Audi multimedia kit working with this earlier version of Canbus. Is there a workaround available? The Alpine 425 kit I currently have does not work as well as the Audi option and I don't know of any better options out there.
