I went from 8L A3 to C6 2.0 tdi. Its a world apart of course, but wouldnt want to go back to anything smaller.
Now I have the option to sell it back to the previous owner for the same price as he moved to Oz. So Im on the lookout for the same spec in estate version.
We have a 6 month old...
I debadged mine and added some wrapping on some of the scratched panels.
I intend to use plastidip my front grill area as it is more grey than dark. Sourcing a front lip and then maybe wrap the rear lower bumper as it is also scratched.
So surely there are idael replacements for the bulbs?
I am after the standard front lights and the fogs to replace as I would prefer a cool white look as opposed to the yellowish light the standard A6 gets.
Advice welcome.
Haha. Scary indeed. Of course I will slow down to national speed limits when I see the signs.
I guess I will just keep a lookout when I can and use the cruise control on the M4 and M5.
I was wondering if the C6 MMI have speed camera warnings?
I havent actually needed to use my navigation system yet.
Can anyone advise on this?
I am planning a trip with the family to Newquay and wanting to use the cruise control set at 70mph.
I understand that there will be strips that...
Fair enough. Just thought it was just a wasted gear as it looks nice with the paddles :)
But being a child carrier for our newborn baby I wouldnt think of driving it fast anywhere now :P
Cheers for the info.
I have settled for the box for the time being. I did think about adding a low box and attaching velcro straps to the bottom so it stays in place.
I do like the cargo net idea though.
Was also wondering if everyone keeps their spare wheel in the boot? I noticed the...
Cheers for the advice. I have settled for a low fruit box from tescos (lol)
As I train the local youth team I have 2 folding goals and other items which I put in the car on weekends, but during the week its empty. Will have a look at the hooks.
Thanks all :)
What do you keep in your boot? I have had my A6 for 2 weeks and did the weekly shop.
What annoyed me was that one bag opened up and all my shopping went everywhere. I had to dive into the boot much to my wifes amusement.
Do you have a boot liner or have the anti slip liner in yours?
Have you had a look at the wipers? Perhaps they need changing? or maybe the arm needs oiling/replacing?
I do detailing on the side and what I did when I picked up my A6 last weekend was simply use a small amount of polishing compound and cleaned the windows before applying some windscreen...
Oh right. I didnt copy the contact list over as I was kinda excited that it worked and called my wife from the car whilst she was in the garden (haha)
I will give it a try later this week to copy the contacts.
Thanks again
Well I just tried pairing my HTC Desire with the car and it worked. I can recieve calls and make calls. Wasnt entirely sure how to scan my phonebook with the MMI. But doesnt really bother me.
As long as I can receive and make calls then I am happy :)
Code was 1234.
I was wondering who has changed their headlight bulbs and interior lighting?
Reason I am asking is I was told that if I get the wrong bulbs for the front headlight it might cause issues with the ecu?
Is this true?
I am hoping to change my door sill, interior and boot lights with the newer LED...
I dont understand why Audi would not have bluetooth as standard regardless of whatever model mobile phone cradle they install.
Bit silly eh. Never mind. Too dark to go outside and play in my car. Neighbours might think Ive gone gaga :)
Will give it a try tomorrow.
Has anyone tried the green...
Thanks guys. I have the nokia cradle also. I removed that.
However during the week the car is parked and only use it on weekends mainly :)
The car was an investment for our forthcoming baby. The boot space and interior is fantastic and I cant wait to use all the functions of the car :)
Thanks.
I do have the phone in the armrest and removed it so I could use it for storage space.
I think I will leave it for now as its not that important and my wife will generally answer my phone whilst I drive.
I have a hands free earpiece so that will do for now.
