call this a petty gripe, but as a smoker, I have never had a worse car than my A3 to smoke in with the window open when its ******* down, or even if the rain has stopped falling and the car is just wet... Perhaps it is just another example of quality German engineering (not) but surely others...

just been to try it - interior light flickers very slightly at same time.... oooohhhh s%$&...... so what could that be then? BTW mine is a 55 plate 2.0TDI Q. Jonathan

thats interesting - noticed that on mine too but only on stereo panel and only a very faint flicker. haven't noticed on interior lighting or headlamps, just the stereo display.

unless S3 armrest is different to S-line this is definitely taking the ****, mine was a factory fitted option at £95 fitted !!! (with same leather upholstery as seats). OK this is retro fit but still.......

Thanks for this Redbutcher do u have any performance figs for your "bluefinned" TDI?. was also looking at a co. called Diesel Tuner on internet - they do a remap for about half the price of the Superchips Bluefin. Wonder what the catch is?

Hi All !!! I have a 2 yr old A3 2.0TDI 140 quattro and want to get it remapped or chipped to give it more grunt (ie 170 plus bhp) !!! but have heard horror stories about gearboxes failing on chipped or remapped versions. mine is a quattro with manual gearbox... apparently the audi boys say...
