Just trying to verify that the head gasket has gone we have had the oil cooler checked and there seems to be no leaks. Is there anything else that can be done before opening the head to check?
Further to this if its the head gasket is there and way to determine if the top end or bottom end is...
I spoken to a few people and they advise it could be the following
Speed sensor
Control box
Gearbox itself
The problem when coming to a stop and stationary the grears are changing down and hence making the car jump. Any advise on the above would be helpful to asertain or too look in the right...
On slowing down or coming to a standstill the car jerks as the gears kickdown. Seems to be a lag. Im not sure what controls the autobox and how this problem maybe resolved.
UPDATE AND CLOSE - The issue was the tentioner bolt had snapped and sheared off after been replaced. and hence the belt jumped a few teath. The tentioner was by gates and i would not recommend using this brand of tensioner as they did not provide any support or refund as a result of the damages...
It was the ntn tensioner that failed. The bolt on the tensioner snapped :(
1) Now not sure if we the part was from euro parts but think they may not cover it and say the bold may have been over tightened. Has anybody ever made a claim.
2) as the car still starts. Is it worth buying another kit...
Apologies for the update taking off the cover it looks like the timing belt is loose this was changed 6 months ago and hoing the valves have not been damaged?
The mechanic says he will open up the front end and see where the fault lies tensioner or some other component.

Been to the garage and have made another vid as requested:
The mechanic on banks 456 opened the injector pipes and the engine changed its tune pointing to the fact it has diesel. Looked at the clear line and has no bubbles.
Update: rac have been advised banks 4 5 6 are all not getting enough fuel from their system. There is also knocking noise but this could be a symptom.
Could this be the fuel pump/ timing or camshaft? Any ideas would be appreciated?

I have a rough running audi tdi 2.5 on idle and at 70mph to 85mph and would like some clarification. The cars mounting are all fine this is a purely a running issue with the engine.
Some of the suggestions are as follows:
1) actuator
2) Injector blocked
3) Wiring loom???

Had to take it to a specialist who checked the maf and the EGR again even tried a land rover solonoide. But the guys at Autocraft helped get this back to normal now runs like a dream. The most hardest problems to fix are usually caused by man.

The power was lost due to to pipes being incorrectly installed. Switched pipes which resolved the problem. The 2 pipes were switched to the solinoid after the EGR.
Hi Paul thanks for your help - I would just like to understand why thinner ATF would loose power what would the role be in terms power or clutch plate if any?
I love my Audi but this is becoming a pain after a long journey the car looses power foot to the floor although it revs high no movement of the car.
I had two codes come up one was voltage too high on MAF so replaced and that fixed the management light but the symptoms above we're the same...
