yeah will work with the single CD player. Thats what i have on my S3. The Audi i-pod kit is really easy to fit too. I fitted it so the conection goes into the litle draw thing under the radio, so that its hidden.
Sounds like you need to get the car up on a ramp and have a good look underneath. Noises like that can be so many differant things. I would get it up on a ramp or on some axle stands and have a good look. Also get a lever bar and check the Anti roll bar bushes do not have excessive play. And...

Yeah that item on e-bay is the origional service book.. But it may have a data sticker for another car on it. Or you will not have the data sticker from your car to put in it. Your probably better of with a duplicate book.
Got the inforation from Audi themselvs.. I am an Audi technician and have replaced many dash pods on TT's and A3's. Becasue tt and a3 are the same dash in most cases. May be worth ringing your local audi centre rather than Audi UK, they would probably help you more ! Expecially if you tell them...
Theirs an orange pipe behind the turbo that sometimes spits.. but that would not relate to the area you are hearing it from.. Have you checked both intercollers?
Audi are now covering the Dash panels under waranty for cars up tp 7 years old.. Depending on mileage.. not to sure what miliage though ! worth asking though !
There is a pipe coming of the P/S resoviour, one of the pipes has a restrictor (one way valve type thing) in it.. there is a modified pipe without the restrictor in it avaliable which normally cures the fault

Yeah you will need the terminal tool, or a really thin screwdriver. If you push the tab in from the oposite side of the purple protector. The rubber protector is fixed to the wire and comes out with it.

sound like it may be a coolant temp sensor.. Its normally a green sensor located on the cooland flange on the back of the engine. (depending what engine is fittted). Or could be an air lock in the coolant system!

it sounds like it could be one of two things.. I had an S3 recantly do a similar thing and its because the steering was out of alignment.. And beacsue its seeing the steering as pointing left and your going strait, it thinks you are in a skid, so applies the brakes.. So maybe your steering needs...
