Hi all
I am looking for a used 8v s3 with a budget of around £25k
Which options do you guys consider as essential?
Obviously I cannot spec the car I want but I would like it to have a decent audio setup and I would also like a decent interface. I am struggling to comprehend the difference...

Hello.
When i replaced my headlight bulbs i removed the whole cluster. There is 3 torx head on the top (the easy ones) and one at the back of the cluster (extension needed)
To ensure you get the lights aligned when refitting i suggest you mark up the position of the screws before you start.
look here mate.
i will be paying a visit to them myself soon.

They are advertising it on ebay.
I almost bought a set of 18" off an A3 but they wouldnt fit. The spacing of the bolt hole is different. i think the tt has the same hubs as the A3 so you should check this before buying.
I changed my 17" 9 spoke for 18" 9 spoke and it has improved the ride and handling. i have 2 kids and was...
I have owned an '98 A3 18t for a few years now and due to family expantion its time to up-size.

I have just got a set of RS4 alloys for my A3. On trying to fit them i discovered the holes do not align
The friend i got them off has a A6, so i am presuming the A6/A8 are different than the A3/A4/TT fitment.
Is there any way to adapt the hub with maybe a spacer or is it a lost cause?
I have a 18T and a 13 month old child, both of which are great fun!
I had to fit the child seat into the back because my pre-facelift model car it is not possible to disable the airbag on the front passenger side, unlike the new models which have a key switch (i think) The little minx enjoys...
I think this has been covered before and from what i recoil coilovers are a bit to specialised for road use. they are designed for the track and although they look good and sound good when at pub you will never gain the advantages that coilovers offer when driving on the road.
Plus they are...
I think the recall is quite a recent one cos they didnt mention anything at last service (may03) it's possible that AA have not updated their list?
As to where you can details of recalls, i dont know. If i wasn't using Audi for servicing i would never have known about this brake line recall...

its the facelift model, not much difference, but you notice it when yours is the old one.

Welcome matey. I own a A3 1.8T Sport (standard) Which i Purchaced 6 months ago.
For around £8-9K you should be able to get a 99 plate with reasonably low mileage (50-65k) and maybee a few factory options too.. FSH deffo.
My annual service is coming up soon (60K) which is about £170 which is...
i have recently been into my audi dealer enquiring about servicing costs etc. and the informed me that there is a recall on my car (A3 1.8T) Its regarding the rear brake lines, apparently a few have failed on them and they are replacing them when the affected cars are in for next servicing (not...
If you are going to make it from a existing exhaust you will have to cut into the 'front' side of the box and feed a pipe through the inside of the box about 2/3 of way through.
it will be trial and error to make the gasses flow through both tailpipes the same!
OR
Sebring make them for about £350
