I did have a 2003 type R a few years back...nice enough car, brilliant handling, but it aint no german! Off the power band it was pants, had to really rev the balls of it everywhere to make it perform...one of the reasons i sold it.

But agree on the best money spent, 1st gear is a joke though, but every gear after that is mind bending, wouldn't be so sure and the top end statement of the Type R though, speaking from experience :whip:
mpg is up around 5mpg, got mine running at...
But this aint a bad hing in my IMHO :) These days, there aint much to go wrong with these cars. Obviously check for body damage, over spray marks etc etc... basically checking the thing hasn't seen the wrong side of a hedge :)

My A3 is a 3 dr, and is hard to get out/in when someone has left the space of a rizzla between me and them...
In preperation to getting a flaming session started....considering the nature of this thread, what are peoples views with parking in the parent and child bays?
