Hi, I have an Audi A3 1998 and need to change the drivers bulb on both lights ASAP and need to know how to do this? From what i can see there is a way of unhooking them and then hooking the new bulbs on? The car is needed for tonight and any help would be much appreciated. :unsure:

Yeh the latch is just broken, no sort of spring and when u pull the door handle the latch doesnt move, i can move the latch with my fingers but its like its not connected to the door handles. maybe somethings disconnected im hoping someone on here will know, cause ive had a look around and found...

The other day i went to open my passenger side door and it just opened with such ease, i had a look at the latch and its stoped moving so the door isnt latching on the cars frame. This is also happening on my drivers side anyone know how to fix it? :sos: Its an Audi 1.6Sport 98 reg

Had my brothers friend around who is a mechanic, he had a look and used a few pieces of kit to check if the wires are giving a signal to let the fan know its time to turn on. He checked the fan which worked fine when he bridged it but he said its the sensor thats connected to the right hand side...

and it was overheating because when i got out something was making a hissing sound in the engine only a slight one and i could smell burning. So havent used it since

The coolant did drop qiute abit that night but surely that is to do with the car overheating and the coolant evaporating? shouldnt the fan kick in if the cars overheating? and how do i check the thermostat?

I don't have a clue to be honest mate. Does anyone know what would make the fan not work? we know it could be the fuses but anyone else had the same problem?

how would i be able to tell if it was the motor running the fan or the sensor that turns the fan on when things are hotting up are broken? i was looking at buying the full system and it was £150 :sos:

yh and where would i be best off buying the standard exhaust price wise that is?

It only comes up with ones for the 1.8T and 1.9TDI i have a 1.6 sport will this make much difference when it comes to fitting it, or will it have any problems? and whats the difference between a resonated back and a non-resonated?

Anyone? know the price? and would i be right sticking with the standard 1.6sport exhaust or get a custome made exhaust? (no not a massive chavvy one)
