Apparently the police made an error when they told us they had found teh car abandoned in salford. What they meant was that they saw it drive past a patrol car, but they werent in a position to follow it. So, it looks like we'll be claiming on the insurance, and all the hassle that brings.

If the clutch was failing prematurely (say <50k miles) on stock cars, I would say you would have cause to complain. But you cant complain one bit if the clutch wears out early on a car that you have modified for more power and torque.
