Both :-) Run out of gears to quickly in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 4th is onwards is almost spot on. Only thing i am worried about is introducing lag if the gears are lengthened. Need to get this sorted so any advice, prices that you offer would be great.
Make sure you moist up the paintwork with the spray before you clay.
Once removed, if you have a pc polisher, machine the panel to remove any inperfections.
Edited to add, it will come off, just be patient. It will take 5-10 mins.
A stand alone ecu setup correctly will produce much better results the a remapped ecu fact. At the end of the day it's about the ££££. If you have it, do it. When it comes to the safety aspect. Again, aslong as it's setup correctly there will be no issues. If you are worried about...
Has anybody on here got on know where i can get a copy of a diagram for the ecu wiring harness on a S3?
Fitting a Apexi avcr but need the diagram so all the avcr functions will work once spliced in.
Or do these cds on ebay with the workshop books contain them?

Has anybody on here got a S3 running 350bhp + that has rebuilt there gearbox to give better gear changes, espically 1st,2nd and 3rd?

Yep it's still a 1.8. The car starts boosting at 3k (slowly) than peaks (2bar) 4200-4400. Once on full boost it dosn't drop thougout the powerband. It goes right upto the rev limit which i belive is 8k. The cars great once moving. It's 1st and 2nd which are *****. Those are the gears that i am...
This is the spec of the car and a wee pic :) I sold my 500/500 Evo IX GT to fund are new house so the S3 is a stop gap for a year. Wish i didn't buy it now!! Great car but not anything like what i am used to :faint: Anybody in the southwest that you would recommend for a 2nd opinion?
