Most likely a poor connection from your Haldex controller or the controller is faulty. If it is faulty, up-grade to the Blue Haldex HPP, night and day of a difference, a real improvement over standard.

It's the same unit as the BAM code engine (with a different engine code), there is no improvements other than a partial factory remap.

As above, the plastic impellers on the water pump will have broken off. Not an uncommon fault on the 20vT engines. Best to change it when the cam belt and tensioners are getting done for piece of mind.

I think you might be able to get them from Ed at APS, I bought mine from AmD but that option is no longer..... I find they stone chip quite easily in comparison with the BBS CH's I fitted to the wifes Golf.....

Approx 5mm more travel than with the original set-up, but without any doubt a much improved pedal feel. If you were to measure the fluid displacement of the large single piston, I don't think it would be too much less than the 4 smaller pistons.
