I dont see why not. Failing that, just get the new one and cash the old one in as soon as you recieve that. Only problem i can see is that they dont allow you to tax the same vehicle twice - but if they dont allow that, they should allow you to do it at the same time! Thats what i'll be trying!

The rear is about £60+vat from vagparts, i think the front is around the same price but there's nothing on their webpage - give them a call though!
I've never had to replace any so not 100%!

Doubt that would cause it mate. It's more likely that its come on because your emissions system has detected your emissions are too high for some reason. You dont necessarily need to go to the dealer, an independent will be able to scan it, as will the AA/RAC etc if you're a member. Someone on...
Its your Emission Control System Light. Get it on vagcom. Could be a number of things like your lambda sensor(s) etc. Mine lit up like that when my temp sensor went.
