Friend if mine has one and apart from being very juicy and costing a small fortune in road tax, he loves it and is already planning an RS6. Apparently the seats are not great if you are a big fella, apart from that he says its pretty much the perfect car.

Try unplugging the MAF, clearing the codes and going for a drive. Then do a scan and see what the results are.

Keep an eye on ebay for some clocks, pretty sure the A4 uses the same DIS as the A6. I got myself a spare set of clocks cheaply in case any of my pixels should decide to fail.

Fair play then, make sure its a tipronic as they seem to have less trouble than the multi! also if youre a performance buff, the tip is over half a second slower to 60 than the manual! (hence whyI got a 6 sp manual ;) )
