Not one to comment on forums much I must point out a glaring error here guys (and I hope I am mistaken).
Your calipers are mounted incorrectly. The bleed nipples need to point up so as to my knowledge gravity makes air rise in a fluid, so bleeding the brakes will be very difficult for you.
The...
You should've asked when you popped in to book the REVOing.
The stock BOSE headunit only powers the front speakers, the rears take a line out from the headunit to the rear amp, which in turn powers the rears. When an aftermarket unit is put in it's place it usually doesn't get installed...
We've done a couple of REVO's on these and while the gains are not fantastic it does improve the throttle response and driveability. It also removes the top speed limiter and raises the rev limiter also.
the pipework had to snake like that to clear the fog lights and the aliens, space is at a premium behind the bumper
the intercooler is supported above and below, the bracket ties the upper part to the inner support, there is a lower bracket that is not visable
Ideally I would prefer it to be...
all my software etc for images etc went with the laptop to heaven in the sky.
All I have at the moment is the office tower pc and it hasn't got the software on it, just the accounts and internet.
I haven't even downloaded the images from the camera yet because of this issue.
I know it doesn't...
Guys, I will update this thread in a day or 2, we are knee deep in bhp at the moment and are not spending as much time as we would like at the computer.
The intercooler fitted very well, we had to have custom hose work done so we weren't able to use the items from TCarbon, which has invariably...
All cars perform differently, we have REVO'd many cars with stage 1 and not all of them end up with the same settings.
The SPS3 allows the end user to adjust the same settings that the dealer would but you would need VAGCom to properly log the results.
There are things behind the scenes you don't know about so I am sorry if some of my postings seem a bit off hand, we have tried to show you a bit of the process (to help encourage other's) for producing your own kit (although I would prefer you purchase ours) and there has been nothing but off...
Ignoring our other FMIC supplier at the moment, I thought you guys would like a bit of an update to the TCarbon TT225 FMIC fitment on the S3 we are doing today.
The basic kit we received from TCarbon will not fit the S3, the bracket's are wrong and the hose's foul the fog lights.
We have...
One thing to look out for, the silicone hose in your link is only 3 ply this will not be man enough for sustained long term boost control. At the very least you want 4 ply, with 5 being the ideal for very high boost.
Not paranoia, just sick and tired of REVO being blamed for all the worlds ill's.
It is a competitive market and am glad there are many other great options out there for your guys (the loyal paying customer) but I dislike the fact that some tuning housing big themselves up by bringing others...
