Exactly the same symtoms as mine had..... try the connections to the coil pack control unit ( not sure its proper name ) thats located on the back of the air filter box. this happend to mine, all i did was disconnect the two plugs tightend up the connectors and clean'd them all, reconnected...

mine was carried out yesterday along with the service, somthing to do with a vac pipe.

BTW you can paint the Cobra sensors.

I have fitted a number of Cobra reversing sensoe kits in my previous job as an auto spark, they are very good and as far i can remember we never had one back or any problems.. £150 ish i think very good kits.

yeah you can buy it at a later date - or so AMD told me when i got my cat back system.

i would have thought you would kill a standard saxo, a couple of places do turbo kits for these - maybe it had somthing like that on it ???

your best talking to the blokes at AMD or simular, its not just a case of swapping the turbo over - i think you need to swap the inlet manifold and a few other things as well, then have it remapped.

Am now thinking it could be a temp sensor ?? as it only started goin wrong half way to work once it was warm.. and it ran fine last night when it was pretty cold outside ??? any suggestions ?? Admin - if you think i would get more responce in another section ie technical - please move ...

Right this is doing my head in now - went out in it last night and it didnt miss a beat, spot on. started it this morn drove half way to work and then it started poping and missing ?? could this be a dodgy tank of fuel / water contaminated ??? spark plug ??? H E L P !!!!!!!!!!!!

But ive had no warning lights come on ??? any other suggestions what could cause this - its deffo not the clutch / MAF / or dump valve. ??????
