Yep mine does it aswell! I have had the car up in the air and cant find anything wrong i.e bushes, balljoints. Only does it like you say when the car is stone cold! Defo a strange one.
So should there be no noise when the throttle is released or on gearchanges? Have'nt had my car long and it has always made a loud whoosing sound when changing gears etc. My mum had a 2003 S3 and cant remember hers making any noise :blink: Feels a bit flat aswell!
They are hard to take out even with the correct keys IMO. Dont think you will have broken the clips as they are metal. I cut down a bank card before and put it in the 2 slots in the front. you can feel when you have released the clips as it feels springy!! You need to tug very hard to get the...

Spring has snapped!! The botttom coil has broke off. Anyone know where the best place to get 2 new ones is? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction people. Cant believe it only past a test 3 days ago!
Its just gone through a MOT with flying colours so i am assuming shocks and springs are ok. might be worth checking myself tho. Tyre pressures are all ok. Thanks for you replys.
My car is sitting lower on one side than another! It seem that the drivers rear wheel is sat further in the arch than the pass side so it looks a bit wonky from the back :noway:. My car has been stood for a while unused but it has been in use for couple of weeks now and still hasnt sorted itself...
