Problem solved.

Just fitted the remote module, fairly easy and didn't take too long. Car all back together and now have the ESP light on all the time!?!. Anyone know why this would happen. All the work was done with the battery disconnected.

Just bought the remote function of ebay from Cabrio-module for 60 Euros! They say in the instructions to splice into the wires connected to the window module in the drivers door, I assume for the full closure off the key. Does anyone know whether this can be fitted like the one touch mentioned...

Have installed rns-e together with bluetooth and now need to vag com. Anyone in the area with hex com or key com that could help?

Have checked all wires and all ok. Just plugged the symphony II back in with the changer - all worked fine! Lost as what to try next. Would changing the cd unit to a D prefix do anything?

Fitted the rns-e unit into S4 cab last week 8HO 035 192 J, works fine, no problems. Fitted the cd glovebox changer this morning IZO (8EO) 035 111 (i was told this would be fine with the RNS-E unit) which powers up, switches off when the alarm is set, loads and ejects disc's but wont play the...

Now all sorted. Plugged in and working, fantastic sound.

OK, so where does the original BOSE wire from the car link to on the plug and play harness?

Just about to do the symphony II to RNS-E install in an S4 cab. Started to check the harness to ensure all the wiring is in the right place and have read the various links about moving the K line and the BOSE. On the Harness I have (Kufatec) the B7 pin (BOSE) loops into the D12 (main ground)...
