After a short period I think I need to change the A3 due to different plans this year. I need roof bars now having taken up kayaking once again and I need a tow bar for bikes but not prepared to cut up the bumper for it (stupidly didnt look into this befroe buying).

Does the A3 have tow stability? I rang a local fitter and they recommended only plug and play (OE type) wiring to ensure the tow stability works. Iit stops weaving etc automatically.

Are there any instructions kicking around to fit tow bars and 7 pin electrics to 2008 A3 2.0 SE 5dr?
There are some low priced detachable ones on ebay but need some help with wiring. Mines has no parking sensors. It does have RNSE if that makes a difference??!

Hi I have an 08 5 door and my rear washer is constantly blocking up like every other day! Using a pin to clear it but assume I've pushed the blockage into it.
Any ideas how to solve the problem? The jets are brass.

I've just fitted a second hand parrot kit with the ISO autoleads kit which came with it.
Easy enough to tap into a 12v switched using a spade fuse adapter I got from a guy on here.
There were 3 mute wires. I connected Mute 1 to the mute wire on the kit but the stereo doesnt automatically mute...

My dopey other has clouted a kerb with the drivers door and the plastic trim along the bottom edge has chipped off the corner. She denies it was her but on looking next to the car, what was on the floor.....???!:gun2:

Dunno about the Bose but the sat nav is pants. No postcode search - better off with a garmin or tom tom any day.
Must have for me was heated seats and cruise - a lot of a3's with leather dont have heated seats!!! cruise can be added easily after though.

Funnily enough I'm a car enthusiast so didnt come on moaning about how dangerous or polluting anything is. Just saying theres no point in taking stuff like this off for the hell of it - it has a purpose. If you want a fire breathing s3 good for you, but taking off an egr on its own will do...
