    Opinions Sought S3 price

I reckon you'll be sat on that for a while at that price. I had mine up (lower miles, bit older, same condition and just as much mods) at 7.5k, it's now down to 6.5k and there is still little interest :(

    How to turn off ESP

That shouldn't happen, if as you say, you had the throttle down sending power to all four wheels (50% F/R with the haldex system). The S3 is a nose heavy car as standard and the safe handling should see it neutralise into understeer if cornering too quickly, certainly not oversteer. Couple of...

    Disable auto range adjust, xenons.

Thanks for the replies. I've unplugged the connector to the motors and they no longer move at all, which is perfect. I just need it to get a little darker outside to adjust the lights before having them done properly on an MOT bay. When doing this I'll take some photos.

    Disable auto range adjust, xenons.

The garage did, they said they looked pretty bad so they greased up all the moving parts, still no luck though. I just don't really want to throw money at something that can be diy'd for free (at the mo, anyway!).

    Disable auto range adjust, xenons.

I've had mine done via VAGCOM, put into learn mode etc etc. The lights were fine until I loaded the boot :( Worth a go though, it worked on my TT.

    Disable auto range adjust, xenons.

After a few months of an intermittent issue with the head lights pointing down, they are now constantly down. I've had the issue looked at quickly by the local indy but to no avail and I'm fed up of not being able to see correctly. I know that you can disable the auto adjust feature, I can't...

Hi William, I'm considering getting shot of mine as I'll be leaving FT work soon (hence need something a little cheaper). It's a 2001 Nogaro, Black leather recaro (stunning inside!), currently 83k miles but I do 100 miles a day, Full service history (2 that I've had done have been at VAG...

Quite! Thankfully, being a photographer I have the tools to enable me to be a fair few metres back from the road!

Gutted - New wheel pothole damaged (w/pic)

Fingers crossed then, I'll keep the thread updated with progress. it was rather extreme. It's hasn't damaged the tyre (from what I can see) and the suspension seems fine...which is a shame as I could do with some coilovers!

Gutted - New wheel pothole damaged (w/pic)

8 days old....Travelling home last night, just 1 more mile to go and there was a huge bang as I hit a pithole, here's the damage. Pretty sure lot's of people will have also hit it as it's a major route and it's not visible being just over a crest :( I'm going to try and claim from the...

    Post pics of your A3/S3

Hey Wagon, They are indeed 18's. I almost went for 19's but seeing your first pictures made me go for 18's. Your car looked so 'over-wheeled' in that pic on your drive but it looks much better in your latest pics! I think the 19's look great if the car is lowered and you have a big brake kit...

TURN YOUR FOG LIGHTS OFF YOU BLINKIN' CHAV! You're giving us S3 owners a bad image :(

    Opinions Please. :)

Here are the RS6's in 18". I would have gone for 19's but the only advantage of 19's is the aesthetics, plus doing 40+k miles a year I'm not sure I could put up with the ride on 19's :(

    S3 with Cloth Interior??

My old S3 use to have full cloth interior (exactly as pictured above). It was actually really nice, I much prefer it to the 'orrible sticky leather I have now!

    Low head lights

Mine dids this last night although it's now fixed itself. My previous TT also did this, I took it into the dealers who manually adjusted them. I'm not sure where the sensor is but I think it's on the offside rear suspension.

Thanks for the comments The motion shots I posted are rigged, yes. I don't like using it though, you can get much better photos by panning I find. Thank you! Sure, drop me an email (address available on my website) and we'll discuss :) A fair old chunk! All Nikon, main body is a D3...

I really wanted a pair of these, but after seeing this, I'm just not sure. I think the car looks way too 'over-wheeled'. I reckon 18's may look better?
