Yeah cheers I saw that website.
It's going to cost a fair bit for labor too. When I spoke to the garage about the idling problem they told me if they suspected an injector problem they take them out and send them off to somewhere else for investigation.
That sounds expensive too.
When you say £££ do you mean 3 pounds? :-)
Thought not, how much do you reckon? I have an engine judder when idle which the dealer suspected maybe an injector but then thought it maybe a clutch flywheel issue. An injector could cure both issues.
So how much for a new injector and more...
Oh balls that sounds expensive..
Mines been running like this for a couple of weeks now maybe longer, booked it in with the dealer as soon as I could. In the mean time I have had to use it every day.
I first noticed it when I had to turn the radio up cos it seemed quieter but it was the...
Jeez I have a similar problem and it's going into the garage on Tuesday.
It's sounds pretty ruff like a throaty growling which gets louder and louder at high speed. It's not too bad when idling, no stalls, no smells but a very slight loss of power and the growl. Sounds a bit like a blowing...
JKM on Bolde Rd, down Anchorage Rd industrial estate, off the Eastern Road do REVO remaps. They have a rolling road too. WWW.JKM.ORG.UK I think..
They are VERY good.
I feel in a position to comment on this as I have owned in the last 10 years 1 2003 Mercedes C Class Coupe, 1 2004 E55 AMG, 2 BMW M3's E36 and 1 E46 M3...before buying my Audi A4 TDI.
The Audi is not as good as the BMW to drive apart from the manual shift which is way ahead of BMW. Build...
Well not that strange but worrying.
I have noticed in the past week or so the noise level in the car getting louder, mainly at 60 or 70 on a dual carriageway until the last couple of days where I now notice it at low speeds too. It's a similar noise to a blowing exhaust only not as bad but it...
mine is a TDI.
The garage did't seem to think it was normal. It's only a slight juddering not as bad as the first post suggests. If it's a known problem what's the resolution?
I have the same issue when idling. It's not very bad but it is noticeable.
The local garage thought it maybe clutch/flywheel fault or misalignment. Clutch hsd high biting point so maybe knackered. Having it looked at next week.
I got my RS4 19's from there with MAXXI tyres. I still can't make my mind up about these, I wish I had paid a little extra for better ones as I feel right on the edge sometimes with traction and not at high speed either.
Anyone else had any experience of MAXXI?
WHeelbase were fantastic and...
I have a 102k service coming soon and am going to take it to my local Audi dealership as I was very impressed by their customer service when I recently had some work done.
The problem is I have a REVO remap on my Audi and I was wondering what the likely hood is that they will update the ECU...
Crikey, I have to say I am quite worried by this also.
I have been told by my dealer (non audi but VAG independent) that they think the reason for juddering on idle on my 2001 A4 Tdi is due to the clutch and flywheel misalignment and could need replacing.
I have a 3rd party warranty that...
Well I was thinking about this myself. MODS for 2008.
So far I have had a REVO, 19inch alloys, Eibach suspension and a new DAB stereo put in my Audi A4 TDI. 2008 Mods as follows providing I can persuade the wife to let me part with more cash:
1) Body Kit. Rieger looks great but I also like...
Panic over Andy.
Just got to my place of work which is a fairly big town/city tested it again and DAB working an absolute treat. So dispite being able to get DAB in my village it obviously isn't a very strong signal. The reception is fantastic and clear here. Really Chuffed.
All I need to do...
