No. Nothing sophisticated. Simply McGuider on my N95 8Gb which I like to keep charged up and powering from the fusebox is neater than running a lead from the cigarette lighter power point.
I used terminal 45 in my previous S3 to provide 'ignition' controlled power to my SatNav. In my new S3 this terminal is occupied and others I have tried are constantly 'on'. Can anyone advise another 'ignition' controlled free terminal?
Car (2007) came with RNS-D (CD and no map version) fitted.
What's invloved and what's the likely cost of swapping this with the DVD/map RNS-E version ? Is it a dealer job or can it be sourced more cheaply and fitted by others?

Miy (S3) cigarette lighter power point remains on even with the ignition off so that I have to remeber to unplug Road Angel. Is there any way of altering this?
