I'm going to be a dad!

Huge congratulations. Our little boy is 13 months old now and he is just amazing. Every single day is new and exciting. I can't believe we ever didn't have him, although we were married for 3 1/2 years before he came along. Life is a million times more fun and interesting now. Good luck!

    I love to Wii

No sign of your Wii numbers either - or is there a thread somewhere I've missed while I've been off hiding? I'm itching to swap my Mii of Kakahira from "Ichi the Killer"...

    I love to Wii

For crashing out with just thumb movement there's my old xBox. But Mrs Bluebus has no interest in FPS or racing games, and I wanted a console we could spend time on together. For a laugh. Carphone Warehouse gave me my Wii for free with my new phone, but I also had the offer of a 360 or PS3 -...

    I love to Wii

But historically, Nintendo are a toy manufacturer. Not an electronics or software firm. The point of a games console, I would have thought, is fun. The Wii is that, by the bucketful.

    I love to Wii

I know it's been ages since I last posted, but I have been paying attention a little bit. We just got ourselves a Wii a few days ago, and love it. I know stocks are pretty limited in the shops at the moment, but I am dead lucky - mine came free with my new mobile phone! Has anyone posted up...

I know what you mean. One forum I post on is like a flippin' zoo compared to this one. But then, I suppose that's what the General forum is for; general odds and ends. Unless there was yet another forum for rambling OT rubbish and stupidity. But I don't think Stringster's "un-thanks" button...

I agree. I ask questions in the A6 forum occaisionally, and lurk around 1.8T questions in the A3 and A4 threads. The General forum is an interesting place for other chat - but I haven't contributed much lately. I look at several sites' forums, and post a bit here and there. Mostly nonsense. But...

    Topgear to night...

I didn't like the boat stuff in the last series. I just thought it was stupid, and filled up valuable time that could have had (Heaven forbid!) a feature about cars. Somehow though, I enjoyed all the cross-Channel arsing about last night. Maybe I've just chilled out a bit, and come to accept...

On an off-roading forum I used to post on, there were only joining dates. No counter at all. Then there was no post-up-manship.

    Unbelievable.....

I had a third party warranty on a previous car - came with the purchase. But when I'd finished making my head swim by reading all the small print, it was a nonsense. Any claim had to be ok-ed by them prior to work being carried out. Anything done to assess the problem prior to their ok wasn't...

    Mk2 VW Golf GTI 16V

It's cool. Very. After the Mk II it all went out the window for the Golf I believe. But it's just worming it's way back with the current Gti. Or rather, it was. And now the GT Twincharger has right nonced it all up coolness-wise. Tarts.

Good luck chap! IMO they are a proper pocket-of-cool. Don't listen to anyone, if you enjoy driving it (and you will) then you'll have a fantastic time owning it.:salute:
