I did mine last week end. Took me about 2 hours, most of the time was spent re-aligning the door back on. Also, dont lower the window all the way down, it will make it easier to access the plastic clips to get them out.

Hi Thanks for the info. How does one go about jacking the door back up? I had a look at the alignment and it does look slightly out. I took the car to audi prior to posting on here and therefore didnt know anything about the doors dropping, they said I need a new door lock mechanism :think:

When I shut the drivers side door, it doent appear to latch on properly, I have to either very gently shut to the door or push it in. Has anyone experienced this before and if so, is there an cheap fix without having to goto the main dealer? Thanks in advance.
