yes every now and then I have something similar where it just fails to start - maybe have to turn it over 2 or 3 times before it catches. This is not the norm though as it usually starts first time for the vast majority of the time
Well it could be a bit longer I guess but compared to Bruntingthorpe where the course was made up from cones this was miles better - at least it actualy felt like a circuit with kerbs to clip etc.

Well yes it is very easy to spin the wheels in the wet if you just floor it but with a bit of control it's not too bad. Having said that if the quattro didn't have such an impact on CO2 emissions (it's a company car) then I would have gone for quattro.
That said the 170 in front wheel drive...
