what diverter valve do you recommend for my 98 a4 1.8, i've heard of forge 007 and baily bypass valve but i just need something thats better than my stock one and something not too expensive. So please feel free to give me suggestions. Thanks

I am in the process of making my own short ram for my 98 A4 1.8 and am wondering when i take out the stock airbox there seems to be sensors and a couple of other wires coming out of the airbox, when i install my custom intake what do i need to do with the wires/sensors, can i just take them out...
I use 5w30 synthetic and it seems to be working fine. I'd recommend full synthetic if you have more than 50,000 I've been using it for a while and my 98 A4 has 190,000 on it and seems to be working fine. I haven't had anything major gone wrong with it.
Have you checked to see if anything is loose by or on the exhaust/muffler. i'm not quite sure what it could be but you will want to take it into the dreaded dealership and see what they say
I just recently bought a boost gauge and am wondering where exactly will i want to install the sensor for the boost gauge? Does anyone have pics on how to install it? Thanks
The same knocking noise is coming from the front of my car too and when i back up it sounds like somthing is grinding when i apply pressure to the brakes.
Im pretty sure its the pvc valve, I mine does the same thing by clicking very loudly. I thought it was dirty so i tried to clean it out with carb cleaner it worked a little but i think thats just how they work.
