Hi
Has anyone got one of these including the quattro?
Just wandering how they are and what mpg people get. Looking at a non quattro which is rated at 42mpg which seems very good considering petrol is over 10% cheaper than diesel making this cheaper to run or very close to the diesel equivalent...

Hi sorry to hear about this.
But you bought it from a garage selling it for another person so it is still classed as a trade sale which gives you rights.
Did you get an invoice/reciept?
By law with the sale of goods act you have 6 months garantee from date of purchase to cover defects/faults...
i used to get 80 miles approx to £10 motorway driving so 160 miles to £20
driving round town etc was 60miles per £10. This will be less now with the more expensive petrol
im getting an s3 again soon so will miss how good my mk 4 golf tdi 150 is.
that does 210 miles for £20 on motorway but...
yer im possibly off to see one this weekend
98k 2002 225 with full leather for 9k
im not too bothered about the high mileage as long as it drives well, looks like its been looked after and has full history with all the required stuff like cambelt and haldex done
i sold my s3 at xmas to get a tdi golf. i have the 150 gt gti which is quite a good car but im looking at changing back to an s3 now an paying the extra £120-£150 per month to run it.
210 or 225 dosent matter, just go for facelift which i think is 2001 or late 2000 and full history and cambelt...
Hi
I dont think the over pricing is thr issue.
Its more the time of the year and the market and running costs.
Its close to xmas in which its harder to sell cars then
petrol prices on the up. I spoke to my local garage who advised there is a low demand for high peformance petrol cars due to...
225/35/18 and 225/40/18 are both correct.
The 35 is more expensive and a harsher ride, but because of the lower profile has a smaller turing radius (not much though)
As per essthree's comment above audi supplied them with the 40
it will be between 3-6 points plus a fine of £250
You can only get ban if your well over the limit so for 40 need to be over 97.
also almost instant ban if your license is less than 2 years old (or 6 points)which is not your case.
with your case you will have to try and plead with the court...
