Just did this myself at the weekend, very easy job indeed.
Pop the stereo out, no need to unclip the power so no worries about coding it back up.
Undo 5 bolts to drop the glove box out. Route the cable, plug it in and fit it all back together.
Job done.
How easy is it to fit the Audi iPod connection?
Is it a case of taking the stereo out (single din without 6cd changer) and plugging in the cable?
Also how easy is it to route the cable to the glove box? Does the glove box have to come out?
Also is there an option for the glove box dock if...

I have a flip up front ash tray, cigar lighter and rear centre ash tray but would much rather have a tray for my iPod that someone mentioned in another post.

I picked up an A4 saloon 06(56) TDI 140 S-Line 2wd last week and mine makes a noise approx 3/4 lock to the left round slow corners. Only a slight noise but also a vibration/grating through the steering wheel as if a steering bush was dry?
