the lights are the hid looking ones with a nasty yellowish side light bulb. im gunna try and disconect the motor whilst its behaving its self, and if not scream.
If it is a sensor fault would the vag com would pick it up and log it?
its a pain, i dont normally load the car up, so for a temp fix may disconect the wiring to the motor. Does any one know which connector and where it is?
I have a 2001 s3 and have noticed a problem with the headlamp aim, some times intermittantly the passenger light will aim "more down wards" than normal, leaving the light cast right in front of the car.
It is particularly noticable if parked facing a fence or garage door. and when driving...
Im sure in the past ive seen an s3 with a boost gauge built into the drivers side air vent (so not causing any carnage to dash or a-pillars)
Does any one know if these are commercially available, or is it a custom type affair? ITs just i really want a boost gauge, with out destroying my cars...
A good friend of mine has an mi16 205 and it is awesome, almost 200bhp now, goes really well, handles nicely etc..

You must take it for what it is, of course they arent cool, but with some wilwoods...
mine does this too, and i was hoping changing my knackered maf may sort it, and although its sorted my poor fuel ecconomy it still does it. it doesnt judder but you can tell it does it.
i havent been to USC about 3 years now, whats it like now? It used to be a bit of a chav fest? I think thats why i stopped going? What 1/4 mile time did you get?????
