Hi Byzan, it's a 2.4 APS, 30 valve Number 1 piston shattered +snapped exhaust valve (same cylinder), the rest is fine. I'll try and get some pix but don't hold your breath, it's a nice straight car.

I had this problem on my A6, now I'm need a new engine! It would miss, clear, miss, clear, run fine for days, then start again. In the end I lost #1 piston and one of the exhaust valves. Now I need to find close on to £1000 for a second hand unit. GET IT SORTED.:wtf:
