As the title says does anyone have a such a part in good working order or can recommend where I might be able to source a reconditioned one ? any help welcome.

Want to fit a new exhaust and thinking of plumping for the Supersprint Race exhaust (single pipe exit) with unsilenced centre section or silenced optional fitment, not decided yet. I have been told the diameter of the exhaust tubing is 2.75 inches.

you may want to have you're water pump changed too as it's likely to fail sooner or later especially given your mileage. Mine just went recently at 62Kish.
Just got back from Derby Audi who have said It is the water pump so pat on the back for those who suggested it. Having it plus cambelt changed since latter due at 80K anyway and car done 62.5K - not cheap though, quoted £538 to do everything @ 4.5 hours labour.
still think somethings wierd, yet perhaps not as I'm certainly no mechanic....pulled all 3 fuses out on top on battery as already mentioned then checked coolant level....I had lost nearly all the contents of the container other than a small amount in the bottom, it appeared to have bubbled over...
Thanks for the reply, just looking at the handbook and and it only mentions fuses in passenger compartment and doesn't list one for radiators, I will take a gander - thanks again.

Had a whale of a time last time coming home during which I battled with a Lupo GTI and new shape Celica, evenually showed them a clean pair of heals, so it was fair to say i was driving the car hard.

when I said traction control I loosely meant all the gubbins that go into distributing power between the wheels in the event of lack of grip. I have a '97 R reg and cannot disable the above electronics also, surely you have had the sensation before when then accelerating hard in 1st or 2nd gear...
I first saw this car at the AMD Bicester meet last year or the year before and it's mint all the way down to the armorfend paint protection. To say it's been modded is an understatement, the list he showed me filled a sheet of A4!
