got me weitecs on, finally. look the tits, bit too low at the mo!, but the ride is not as comfy as i'd like. so:
1. any tricks to make it softer?
2. is it true - the lower the front the tighter the ARB? if so, if i raise it up on the front will that make it more comfy as the ARB will not be...
i'm led to believe that nothing needs to be changed because of the A4 double wishbone suspension set up. i'm still gonna get mine checked when i've done mine. it might be out already!
change it anyway. there's two there in a housing, and i think the black one is a dual temp sender (ecu and gauge), and audi dealers change them all the time.
my local dealer said if they get an audi in with rough running, the first two things they change is the maf and dual temp sender...
been quoted about £200-£250 for g-max and FK, slightly more for weitec.
what's the best for comfort and ride? needs to be comfy and not harsh. :jump:
coilovers or shocks and springs...?

hi guys,
another prob. sounds like a belt squeak when u first start the car, but as soon as it fires it goes away, but is then replaced with a quiet whistling noise. it's always done the whistling, but has only just started doing the squeaking!
any ideas?
cheers

doubt it.
if i feather the throttle and drive slowly for a bit, then boot it, it takes off and goes like it should. otherwise it just feels a bit robbed of power and wants to go faster but somethings holding it back. u get a jerky kind of feeling when accelerating like the ecu can't make up...
seems to be running nearly perfect, other than a surging problem, and the feeling of being a bit starved about half the time. sometimes u floor it and it takes off, other times it feels a bit short of power.
while accelerating at constant throttle position it accelerates as if u were on and off...
think i've cured it. disconnected it again, cleaned out TB while i was waiting, reconnected, waited for adaptation, and seems to be fine.
still doesn't seem 100%.
