Jeez, it's unbelievable...they should be shot
I had a similar situatione once: I was turning right off a main road when I heard a car speed off from the road I was turning in...I felt a hot sensation on my back and realised it was a cig! I leant forward and found a place to stop...the cheeky...
Hi,
Nice car
It's quite easy to do. It comes in a kit - you get a can of caliper cleaner to get all the dust and grease off, then once dried you can use the paint. You have to remove each wheel otherwise you risk getting some of the caliper cleaner on the wheels and you don't want to do that...

Keep me informed

Does anyone know the torque settings for the dog bone mount that connects the engine to the tranny? I believe each bolt needs to be torqued differently....
Also, does anyone know the name of the engine mount that is on the right hand side in the engine bay which is underneath the air box and...

I drove a 3.2 A3 and TT last week. Dont think it pulls any where near as hard as my S3 with the turbo on full chaff.

Hmm, that's probably because your used to the turbo kicking in, instead of the smoother acceleration from a standard engine.
Hey,
The link to the Kicker website is here This tells you the volume of both sealed and vented boxes. I sealed my box.
I can't remember what the volume was, but if I can find the plans I made, I'll let you know. I used several layers of wood and planed it down around the corner (bracing it...
Andy, Mark,
It's possible to work around the trim. I removed the sub from Audi and used the space to take up some of the volume behind. The picture is of a custom made sub box made by me in birch plywood which sounds better and weighs much less than MDF.
Chris
I would also consider the Kicker Solobaric range...because of the squareness, the sub needs less volume and so the box is a fraction of the size. The 8" will sound like a 10". I have a 10" in mine, and that sounds as good as a 12"!! Just a thought.
Chris
Sound deaden the spare wheel well and boot floor, doors and the door cards. That should help to keep the rattles at bay. Also greatly improves the sound at the same time!
Cheers
Chris

What about 6th Jan? That's a Friday, if we want a serious drinking session (could even go karting the next day - start the audi-sport 2004 karting league!)
Or We could do it that Thursday 5th, and start a precedent for the first thursday of every month?
