Hey Guy's
Any got handy a guide for removing the turbo on a BKD? Believe my Variable Vane Turbo may be sticking as Limp Mode is becoming the norm during a journey and have an over boost fault code showing.
I've had a look underneath and it's well and truly hidden at the back, instead of...
As the thread title suggests I'm interested to see how easy this is achieve. Even though I'm not a qualified mechanic I'm more competent with general servicing and maintaining vehicles, although I've never replaced a cam belt. The main reason for this is to try and save money as I'm skint but...
Can anyone help me who's got Etka?
I need a parts diagram for the hose assembly that fits between the turbo and the intercooler of an A3 2.0 TDI BKD 2004
Anyone?
Situation,
Driving up quite a steep'ish hill when the car popped out of 2nd gear and started bellowing out brown smoke. Managed to get it to the top of the hill and pulled over. After re-starting the car it would only drive about 15 mph due to kangaroo'ing. there is a low dronning vibration...
Thought it was time to refurb my badly curbed wheels. Didn't want to spend a lot of money and wanted something different for the silver so decided to go down the matt black route. Took roughly a full day with all the sanding and prep work
As I haven't seen any pics of the OEM wheels painted...
Hi,
Anyone know how to adjust the doors as mine have sagged a bit over the years.
Oh and please no cowboys saying "Stick a jack under door and lift"
Thanks in advance!
As the title suggests my bearings have acquired a squeal when stated in morning and sounds a bit rattly when running warm so think it's on it's last legs.
If anyone has got Elsawin and wouldn't mind helping me out by emailing me a PDF on exchanging bearings I'd be most appreciated!
Thanks...
Been a while since I've posted anything but thought you might like to see what happens when people don't use indicators to turn! Happened last night! He's claiming he indicated I'm claiming he didn't.
Went out for in spin in Whiteatoms S3 last night and was very impressed! Nice car mate!
Anyway, noticed that the little tray (Non smoking kit) under the heater control unit was light up with a fancy red light. Can anyone with Etka tell me the part number and price if poss?
Cheers
Von
My Aircon doesn't seem to work although my Heater does. Performed a scan but can not find the fault codes from the Fault code directory.
Anyone shed some light on this for me? Or will I spend the summer being ****** alive! Please help save the life of a fellow Audi-sport member...
Finally got around to checking Saturdays mail and a nice letter from Leeds Audi saying that I've damaged an alloy wheel on an A6 loan car when I had mine in for some work. They want £110!
I wouldn't really mind if I had damaged it, but I'm 100% certain that I caused no damage to the vehicle...
Just retro fitted cruise and done a vag scan and came up with following faults. The Short to ground on Speakers is probably because I've spliced into cables for signal feed to a seperate sub woofer. But not sure on the other fault codes :uhm:
Can anyone shed some light on them for me...
Have just retro fitted cruise and programmed ECU via VAG.COM but nothing seems to be happening!
Just wondering if I need to change ECU's?
I have 8PO 953 549 G but know there is another ECU for a two door that ends in J instead of G.
Any ideas on you guy's who have fitted it themselves?
Not sure if my Air-con is working or not!
Had it re-gassed as wasn't really getting that cold. Does feel colder during normal operation, but when setting temp to max/Low setting and blowers are doing their best to imitate a hairdryer the temperature rises as if the system can't keep up with...
Went to get out of car today and a gust of wind forced the door out of my hand and violently pushed itself against the hinges. Now the door sags and wont shut properly. Really annoying :keule:
Has this happenned to anyone else? If so is it just a matter of adjusting the door hinges in line again?
