    nope, the egr is connected directly to the ecu use vagcom to address the issue.

    brake upgrade??

    this is correct, but the WRONG way around! If you had 288mm discs, you would only require 312 discs and s3 carriers As you have 280mm (FSIII) brakes. you'll need the hubs, calipers, discs,carriers ect.
