    Is the caliper wind back tool a specialist item or can something be "adapted" . Done screw back ones before with screwdriver/similar!!!

    Need to replace rear discs & pads on 2002 1.8TS Quattro. I'm not driving the car hard so any info on what parts are best to replace much appreciated. The rear calipers are lucas so do the pistons push in or screw in Ta much!!:meeting:

    Whats everyones car history?

    Another oldie here 37 years OLD (KIDS do that). Owned R5 GT Turbo when some of you where in nappies still. Then as follows:- R21 Turbo R Megane (Wife learning to drive) Citreon Saxo VTR VW Bora (Kids started) A3 1.8T Quattro (Got my own way again!!!)

    just fitted a Pioneer system to my 1.8T Quattro with all the extras need i.e adaptor leads for sub woofer & aerial supressor or whatever you call it. But still getting a whining noise especially on accelaration. HELP PLEASE:think:
