The engine bay was dressed with Aerospace 303 sprayed from a Swissvax mixer bottle:
LSP for this one was Werkstat Acrylic so up first was the Prime:
This was worked into the paint, going round the whole car before buffing off with a deluxe mega towel:
Then the first of 3 coats of...

Well said. Polishing your car every week or so WILL harm your paint as you are removing small amounts of paint every time. We had an owner of an A6 Avant come in by just over 2 years ago so we could look at an area of his bonnet where he'd been trying to remove a scratch by hand - he'd managed...
Yes if you wanted to send us the housing then we could correct it for you, you'd be looking at around an hours labour (£37.50 + VAT) + insured shipping here and back.
The car was then dried off the Black Baron once again, now the vinyl and paint was properly protected this took no time at all :D
My Dad and Brother had arrived by this point so while I did the correction on the painted parts (no after pics so you'll just have to trust me they were done!) Dad...

All the shuts and exterior trim were then cleaned but this time using a hot water and Swisswax Opaque Shampoo Mix as you don't really want to be using APC's or regular shampoos and snow foams on the exterior if you can help it:
Once they were done it was time to give the car a...
Well after months and months of waiting my Dads new car finally arrived :)
John and I went to inspect the car as soon as it arrived at the compound just outside of Aberdeen, you wait ages to see one and then two turn up at once :D
Can't say I was overly impressed at the level of "care"...

As already mentioned above - if the wheels are new or in good condition then normal shampoo will be fine. Concentrate on getting a few coats of wheel sealant on and you should never really need any strong cleaners. You may need a tar remover every couple of months if they pick up tar spots but...
Lambswool are best for the paintwork - the shorter pile of microfibres can lead to marring the paint quicker, best to save these for arch lips/alloys/door shuts etc :)
The following weekend we were sponsoring a local car show and the owner very kindly gave us permission to have the car on display...
I had hoped to get some full sun shots at some point during the day but instead of sun we got rain...
The beading looked good I guess...
I then applied 3 coats of Gloss-It Concorso over the next remaining day or so while I attended to all the other remaining details.
This was applied by hand:
So in between applying those 3 coats I turned my attention to the wheels.
We double checked with a Lamborghini Technician on...
(Approx 15-20 readings were taken each time on the same spot with an average taken from the readings)
First combination I tried was Menzerna 3.02 and a Gloss-It Polishing Pad:
This barely even removed the marring and light swirls and paint removal wasnt even noticeable.
Next was...
There were very little tar spots on the car after rinsing so it was straight inside ready for claying.
Meguiars Mild with plain water for lubricant:
Including the shuts:
There were quite a few tar spots on the engine bay underneath the cover I'd removed so these were quickly removed...

For those that haven't seen it, the first part (HD video) can be...
