Please Help .. cant decide which car to buy.

The Mrs seems to edging towards the BM - Its cheaper by £550 and she thinks it would be a nice change - if its too expensive im pretty sure I could sell it for more than i'm paying for it anyway. Did try to recommend us buying both of them - it didn't work. (shock) We figure the BM would cost...

Please Help .. cant decide which car to buy.

It's awkward as both are very nice. BMW is silver with 18" alloys, parking sensors, ipod connection, auto box trip computer. Feels new and interestingly different to what I'm used too. Audi is denim blue with 17" alloys but also has full black leather which looks like its not been sat in despite...

Please Help .. cant decide which car to buy.

I've just sold my 2006 A3 2.0TDi DSG to contrubute towards a house deposit. Gutted to see it go but need a replacement. I've been searching for a while on a tight budget and have narrowed my selction to these two possibilities. 2002 A4 1.8t with 125k miles full service history including recent...

Advice on products for first attempt at machine polishing

Thanks Rich, I'll definitely be putting in an order for the kit in november. Want to get the cars done asap. Is there anything else on particular you think I might need? Got to get another clay bar, got plenty of last touch, srp, egp and collinite 472. I've been reading other peoples experiances...

Advice on products for first attempt at machine polishing

Will do, and i'll try and take some photo's too. If the passat gets even 50% corrected it will be worth it as it looks so bad at the moment. Whoever machined polishd it previously really messed it up and the buffer trails are probably a bigger issue than the swirling. I might actually hang on...

Advice on products for first attempt at machine polishing

I think i've read so many of the guides i've overloaded on information...... cleanyourcar.co.uk have a similar offer but have an extra polish included (but less polishing pads) so that kind of confused me into thinking that there was maybe another step. I've been reading up on detailing worlds...

Advice on products for first attempt at machine polishing

I've decided to take the financial plunge and invest in a machine polisher. The main reason being my fathers 2007 black VW Passat. Its got some of the worst swirling and holograms ive seen on a car and its drives him mad. It looks ****** terrible. I've tried masking the problem with some AG...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...I HATE THIS COUNTRY SOME TIMES! :)

def taxed too much - £1500 before deductions should leave you about £1100 after deductions(give or take) unless you receive other benefits which would affect your tax code and therefore affext the amount of deductions. phone tax office and get them to check again...ask them to explain it to you.

Is it me or are people driving more slowly because of high fuel prices?

The price of fuel now means i will probably never buy another petrol powered car, id love to treat myself and buy something really powerfull, something like and S4 or even some thing really different like Z4 coupe 3.2 but i know i just could live with the cost of filling it it up and watching it...

Is it me or are people driving more slowly because of high fuel prices?

I do like to make progress in the car too, its just that filling it up with diesel for almost £70 now makes me so angry that its forcing me to squeeze as many miles as possible. Especially as the car is the workhorse etc....thrashing it just seems wrong. Whereas the bike on the other hand is...

Is it me or are people driving more slowly because of high fuel prices?

I find the carefull driving in the car helps to compensate for burning through tanks of fuel in record time when riding my bike.:arco:

Is it me or are people driving more slowly because of high fuel prices?

Its really sad but i have been ! Changed my route to and from work too, its 0.7 miles longer but i do most of it at about 40mph without having to stop start (i do almost all city driving) by doing this and driving more carefully im now getting over 100miles more out of a tank of fuel so boring...

Getting new tyres for the A3 on Friday!

I got mine at a local tyre firm in cardiff. It was cheaper to get them there supplied, fitted, balanced etc... But you can order them from www.mytyres.co.uk and get them fitted yourself. You will need to add on about £12-£20 for fitting each wheel. so if i were you i would phone...
