Never had a car with xenons before and wanted to know where to get some bulbs as one seams brighter than the other? Also a guy on here got some side light bulbs off ebay, I have done a search but can't find the link. Any advice on what bulbs to get for a 99 pre-face lift S3 would be great!!

Any difference to the drive as I have a small problem with power delivery and was recomended to change this?

Thats strange as the fronts on my car I identical to the rears, hubs that is! They use the same bearings and hubs on my 99 S3 front and rear, as I have just replaced the hubs and bearings.

I don't do any track day driving in the car, what I want is an improvement over the standard set up as it is rubbish to say the least. Mega4 is close to you in Walton-on-thames, they do revo re-maps, perhaps pop down and see them! I found them quite friendly and helpful even though I went to power engineering.

Good thinking about the negative camber, as when i did the n/s bearing I took out the negative camber (the three bolts on the bottom of the wishbone) and it did get a bit quieter. I will try changing the tyres around.

Funny you should say that, someone else said tyres and I wouldn't have it. Oh well i'm getting new wheels soon so I see for sure then! Oh they are toyos on the front and goodyears on the back.

Now I have done the n/s bearings as I thought it was coming from there and the o/s seam ok on jacking it up and checking, any other thoughts or previous similar problems encountered? Thanks in advance!

Good points there, the wheels i'm going for are 18" compomotive mo's in black now I know the wheels have quite a bit of clearence for big brakes so it makes sense to me to get an offset of around the 25 mark. Cheers for your reply:icon_thumright:

Edward i'll pop down and see you as mine is just remapped and we can compare the difference to see if it was worth it, as I here a lot of negative comments about spending money on the S3 and I personally would like to see the difference. I see poor times stuck up for these cars and find it hard...

Fly by wire on this one it's an apy coded engine, to be honest I know nothing really about Audi's my backgrounds in Fords so i'm learning as fast as I can. Someone suggested the intake hose to the turbo, from experience with Fords I doubt it is the intake hose. Any other ideas would be great!
